INGREDIENTS
  • 3 eggs
  • 200g caster sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. teaspoon salt
  • 120g melted butter
  • 100 g cocoa powder
  • 90 g flour
  • Baking powder 2 sachets of 7 g
  • 60 g of crushed walnuts
  • 2 mashed bananas
For the decoration:
  • 1 c. tablespoons icing sugar
  • 1 banana sliced
  • 1 c. tablespoon topping
  • 2 crushed walnuts
Method
  1. Work the eggs with the sugar, vanilla sugar, salt and butter until sugar dissolves.
  2. Sift the flour with the cocoa powder and baking powder and stir into first preparation for a smooth paste.
  3. Add the chopped walnuts and bananas crushed by mixing well to incorporate them into the dough. Pour batter into a greased and floured 24 cm in diameter.
  4. Bake in preheated oven at 180 ° C for 40 to 45 minutes.
  5. Remove cake from oven and allow to cool completely before unmolding. Submit a paper lace on the cake and sprinkle with icing sugar.
  6. Brush the glaze center, set above the rosette banana slices. Coat the banana slices so that they do not oxidize. Garnish the center of crushed walnuts cake.
