INGREDIENTS
- 4 eggs
- 150g caster sugar
- 2 packets of vanilla sugar
- 12 cl of sunflower oil
- 250g of flour
- 2 pinches of salt
- 14 g baking powder
- 125g natural yoghurt
- 1 apple
- 1 c. cinnamon
- 50 g sliced almonds or crushed
- 1 c. tablespoons of caster sugar
- 1 c. tablespoons icing sugar
- Whisk eggs with sugar and vanilla sugar until the mixture is pale and doubled in volume.
- Stir in net oil while whisking the mixture to keep it aerated.
- Sift flour with baking powder and salt. Stir in the flour to the egg mixture in small amounts and stirring gently for a smooth paste.
- Add the yogurt to lighten the batter.
- Pour into a 24cm diameter pan lined with baking paper. Grate the apple over the dough, level the surface with a fork. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Garnish with almonds. Sprinkle with caster sugar.
- Bake in preheated oven at 180 ° C for about 45 minutes.
- Remove cake from oven and allow to cool completely before unmolding.
- Sprinkle sugar cake ice before serving.
