Magical Cake - Recipe


Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 500 ml of milk
  • 150 grams of sugar
  • 5 ml of vanilla flavoring
  • 130 g butter
  • 120 grams of flour
  • few drops of lemon

Method

First you melt the butter and let cool.

Put the milk in a saucepan and let it heat without bringing to a boil, then turn off and add the vanilla flavoring.

Divide the egg yolks from the whites, leaving these aside, and whipped with sugar. Add the butter and mix well, then add the warmed milk flush making mix well.

At this point add the flour, making sure that no lumps are formed. This is a very important step, otherwise pass the mixture through a sieve if they were to form lumps.

Finally, whip the egg whites with a few drops of lemon and mix the dough, being careful not to dismantle. You'll have to get a very liquid consistency.

Grease and flour a cake pan of 22 cm in diameter and bake at 150 ° C for about 1 hour and 15 minutes.

When the cake will have finished cooking let cool for one hour at room temperature and then transfer it in the fridge to rest for two or three hours.
